Workers Comp, School Teacher Assaulted
A client of ours was injured in Knox County, Ohio when she was trying to break up a fight at school. We got her claim allowed for Coccyx contusion, lumbar contusion and sprain of the left wrist. We amended her claim and filed for additional allowance of a lumbar tear of the right hip, anterolisthesis at L5-S1, substantial aggravation of a compression of right L5 nerve and abutment of L5 nerve. These additional allowance were denied at the at the district and staff level. We filed a complaint on her behalf seeking allowance of the additional conditions.
We filed another car accident/workers compensation hybrid, our client was rear ended while driving for her employer. We got her workers compensation claim allowed for left shoulder impingement, left shoulder tendosis and multiple disc herniations at C4-5, C5-6 and C6-7.
